This is my blogspot for expressing my ideas and positions regarding the need for Reconciliation, Peace and Development in Myanmar.

In my view, RPD - Reconciliation, Peace and Development are three things that cannot be done out of sequence. They need to be done step by step.

First of all there is the most important step of all - the need for Reconciliation.

Reconciliation has been used a lot in speeches, in expressing positions for different shades of political parties and in discussions. However, reconciliation cannot make progress unless and until the leaders from both sides - the government side and the NLD side are willing to put aside their petty differences and meet and talk about important issues that face the nation.

Myanmar as a nation does not live in isolation. Myanmar is part of South-East Asia and as such is a member of ASEAN. Myanmar is also a member of the United Nations. In South-East Asia all our neighboring countries are working daily to develop their countries. All national leaders take part in the political process to serve their respective countries. They think every day about how important it is to make sure that all sectors of the economy and all the different stratra of the citizenry develop. Countries cannot be content to develop at their own pace because all countries try to improve their economies as fast as possible.

If Myanmar does not catch up or remain stagnant, we will fall behind and our competitiveness will affected.

Myanmar cannot afford to be disunited. Unity is strength and the opposite is very dangerous not only for Myanmar but for any country.
